Stanley Erin Eco Central Heating Fireplace
The Stanley Erin Eco Central Heating Fireplace is a cast-iron boiler fireplace designed to burn both solid fuel and wood. It is an ideal choice for the family home, providing efficient room heating while also producing hot water and powering a central heating system.
It delivers up to 4.5kW of heat to the room and 9.7kW to the boiler, with a nominal output of 3.7kW to the room and 8.1kW to the boiler. Its space heating to hot water ratio is excellent, meaning that unlike similar appliances, any excess heat the Erin produces is not lost to the room.
With 79.2% efficiency, the Stanley Erin Fireplace is approximately three times more efficient than an open fire. It features automatic thermostatic control, overnight burning capacity, an air-wash system and flexible top or rear flue exits.
We work with South Africa’s leading central heating engineers to design a suitable home heating solution, including radiators and hot water geysers. Please note that the flue is not included and will depend on the individual installation.

Fuel Type
Multifuel / Wood burning
Wood burning is better for the environment because the amount of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere is the same as that absorbed by the tree during growth.
Other recommended fuels are smokeless coal, bituminous coal (contains less carbon) and peat, making it perfect for today’s environmentally concerned cooks. By replacing some of your energy needs with natural fuels you are minimising the cost and helping to reduce your carbon footprint.
